Cutting holes for screws in the so-called crawler pads using a water jet
We invite you to watch the film of the Metalmix Material Processing Center's work on an order for an industrial customer, where circular holes for screws are cut out in the plates, in the so-called crawler pads using , using the water jet cutting method, which will provide solid support for heavy machinery during operation. These are for excavators.
The video shows perfectly how a water jet under extremely high pressure (often enriched with abrasive material) is guided along designated lines and very precisely cuts through 13.5 mm thick metal.

Perfect water-cutting of modern aluminum mosaic
It takes a great deal of precision to cut a modern aluminum mosaic with a water jet! Uniquely, each tile template had to be additionally attached to the substrate so that it wouldn't shift during the process.
